EE / SAC T5+. A long traverse over loose ground, rock and gullies with chain-protected sections; for experienced hikers only.

Additional information
The most technical ground lies between Bivacco Pedroni-Del Prà, Passo della Trubinasca and the blue-marked descent on the Swiss side. A helmet, gloves for the chains and grippy mountain boots are recommended. Attempt the traverse only in stable weather and dry conditions.

Route description

From Rifugio Bresciadega, follow the valley floor to Rifugio Brasca, then climb towards Alpe Sivigia and Bivacco Pedroni-Del Prà. From the bivouac, tackle the gully leading to Passo della Trubinasca, using chains on the steepest passages. Descend on the blue-marked route over granite slabs, scree and equipped sections; the slope eases in Vallone di Trubinasca and leads through larches to Sasc Furä Hut beneath Pizzo Badile.
